FF2 or IE7?

on Saturday, March 15, 2008

I'm always left with a choice whether or not to use Mozilla Firefox or Internet Explorer. Instead of choosing, I end up with two browsers.

Based on browsing experience, IE7 appears to have the upper hand. Except for its lack of modifications compared to FF2, it still gives me the best performance in terms of non-locking incidents.

I guess when running windows as your OS. IE7 is still the best choice. The 'big dog' in browsers. Its just that I can't let go of FF, i'm too comfy with it after using it for a long time. Among my favorite add-ons are StumbleUpon, ZoomFox,broadband speed test, stop auto-play, among many others. The skins are also great.

I miss the splash screens of FF2 though. It's always fun getting to customize it with your own preferences. The Splash Screen is one missing feature in IE7. It gives you the capability to customize it with an image of your choice. It's installed in default in FF2. The one that greets you when you start browsing. One of the little things that makes firefox great.

then came Apple Safari browser...
